My 11 year old daughter has recurring eye infections diagnosed as MRSA. In October 2006 she was hospitalized for this and just this month she contracted it again. She was prescribed Clindamycin again & I’m not only concerned about the MRSA, the antibiotic but also the long term effects this may have on her vision, which is already poor. Should Kaila (my daughter) see an Opthalmologist, ENT doctor (because we think these infections may begin in her nose), infectious disease doctor or all of them? I’m really scared. Any help you could provide me with will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
